Currently she is working mainly with two subjects. The most intimate explores the definitive absences and healing processes connected to these absences. She navigates through "astral" landscapes that are her a source of comfort and peace for her and for the audience. The other subject is related to collective and individual identity, both finding expression through the figure of the totem. This is part of an "ongoing project" that Monica started in 2011.
