Karol Coelho is a Brazilian artist born in Pernambuco.
She holds a B.A. in Visual Arts. She has been studying continuously to develop her techniques and style. She studied at Federal University of Pernambuco - UFPE, at the University of Brasilia - UnB, and at the University of Vale São Francisco, Bahia.
In 2000 she studied at the prestigious Art College “Dulcina de Moraes”.
Karol has participated in the Regional Art Saloon at the Museum of Modern Art - MAM - in Bahia from 1997 to 2004. In 1997 she was awarded by the State Foundation for Culture the “Prêmio Agrovale” - an important national recognition.
Her works can be found in renowned galleries. Karol was the official artist for the “Iemanjá Festival”. In 2018 and 2019 she was the official artist for “Bloco de Carnaval Gravata Doida” a famous Carnival blocks of Bahia.
She was a guest artist at “O Pente”, a famous event organized by the Online Lifestyle TV and Magazine “Uran Rodrigues”. “O Pente” (The Comb) gathers thousands of people to celebrate the diversity of origins of the Brazilian people.
