Rolando de Sedas
Rolando De Sedas, better known as Rolo De Sedas is an eco-neo-pop Panamanian visual artist.
His work addresses social, environmental, identity and feminist issues. Nature is the central theme of almost all of his work. Rolo "seeks" to reinterpret "the natural beauty of Panama or the popular of its surroundings, exalting it and favoring it.
He is inspired by the Venus de Willendorf to echo the same idea of the beauty associated with fertility, women, and nature. His work is characterized by the simplification of his strokes and visual codes and a palette of colors dominated by warm colors and bright and striking tones.
