Phil Cincinati
“There is nothing to invent in the Universe, in a sense, everything is already there. We can only discover or rediscover its multiple aspects. That’s why I see painting and more generally Art as the resonance of a spiritual process.”
– Phil Cincinati
Cincinati is a French self-taught artist. He studied art history, but decided to set sail and follow other passions: travel and archeology.
He started painting professionally on his 30s. He had created some figurative works previously. However, when Cincinati took over his parents activity in Beaune, he decided to add an art gallery to the space, which allowed him to promote himself and cultivate important connections. During the opening of an exhibition he met an old friend, a well-known astrologer and spiritist who would give an important incentive for Cincinati’s artistic career. He sets his sights on an abstract work by Cincinati and encourages him to continue in this path. Not very passionate about the sedentary lifestyle, Cincinati started traveling again and settle in Martinique. He organizes workshops on the island and exhibits his art in various galleries. Currently he shares his time between the Martinique and his native Burgundy.
